Scholarship opportunity!
Oklahoma's Promise is a tuition payment program for college bound students based on economic need. Applications and further information is available at https://okpromise.org/. See Mrs. Hopper if you need further information or assistance.
Military recruiters will be on campus at various times throughout the school year to visit with high school students, particularly juniors and seniors. If you do not wish for your student to meet with a recruiter, please email Mr. Shryock at bshryock@smps.k12.ok.us.
Students interested in concurrent enrollment (college classes while in high school) should see Mrs. Hopper to see if you qualify for enrollment. Concurrent enrollment can give students a preview of what classes will be like in college and assist in credit completion while affording students a less expensive way to take college classes than on campus. Students are responsible for fees and book costs. Tuition may be waived through the Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education or through individual universities for juniors and seniors.
Make sure you're there!!!

Mrs. Green applied and was accepted to attend the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) 2025 Conference through the National Air and Space Museum Teacher Innovatorās conference grant. ISTE is an international organization that promotes the use of technology in education and had an attendance of over 17,000 participants (live, virtual, and presenters). Mrs. Greenās proposal for launching rockets and collecting data on a micro:bit was accepted by ISTE and her presentation was selected to be live streamed and recorded. She was not only excited to share her model rocket project, but also to bring awareness to small, rural schools like Sharon-Mutual. Mrs. Green has plans to incorporate what she learned into her classroom and share with other teachers. Awesome job Mrs. Green!!!!
