The Woodward A.P.I. Scholarship Application for your college or trade school bound seniors is now available. See Mrs. Hopper for applications. Those selected to receive this scholarship will receive a maximum scholarship of $6,000.00, paid $750.00 per semester, for a total of 8 semesters, Fall and Spring, over a four-year period. They will also consider different amounts for students that are considering trade schools. Continuous payments of this scholarship are based on the recipient maintaining a 2.5 grade point average at the end of each semester. It will be the recipient’s responsibility to mail, fax or email a copy of their transcript each semester to the Woodward A.P.I. Chapter for verification and continued eligibility for the scholarship. The applicant and their parents do not have to be associated with the oil and gas industry to receive this scholarship. In addition, they are not required to elect petroleum related major in college, or the trade school they choose. The scholarship committee selects recipients for this scholarship based on financial need, academic achievement, and leadership qualities. Please assure all applicants that every application will be handled confidentially. To alleviate the problem of having to show the scholarship as income, the payments are issued directly to the college or university in the student’s name and specified to be used for tuition, books, or on campus housing only. All scholarship applications must be received by March 7, 2025. Woodward API Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 902 Woodward, OK. 73802
