Schedule update: Elementary/JH football game September 20 was originally scheduled for a home game. It will now be played at Shattuck. Same date, same times. Elementary to kick off at 5:30, JH to follow.

Sunday, August 15 at 6:00 pm we will have a “sweep the campus” night! @ Mutual. Anyone interested in helping out on the finishing touches on campus cleanup and helping mark the football field is encouraged to come. Bring your weed eaters blowers and a great work ethic.

If you want to be qualified to play NCAA athletics going into college, you need to make sure you see Mrs. Hopper by August 17 to make sure you are enrolled properly to receive the necessary credits.

Juniors and seniors who will be attending career tech this school year will need to report to the high school by 10:50 a.m. for class to begin at 11 a.m. August 12 through August 18. Career tech will begin August 19th with a bus leaving Mutual at 7:15 a.m. and Sharon at 7:30 a.m. Any career tech student who rides the bus in to school may still do so and should report to the office until career tech classes begin.

It’s a Great Day to be a Trojan!!! Day 2 of in-service, we had Steve Rogers and HPTC for CPR training. Then we had lunch provided by Janet Fitz, The Sharon and Mutual Methodist Churches, and the Mutual Community Church. Thank you for the student classroom supplies and the wonderful meal!!! If you are able join Rosetta Thompson and Moms in Pray International for a pray vigil at the Sharon Baptist Church @ 7:00 as they pray for Sharon-Mutual Schools and our students. Sports update! The following volleyball games will be played at Taloga. Game times have been moved to 5:00 to allow a little more travel time. August 26 Sept 2 Sept 14 Sept 28 I will also be posting a concession stand work schedule in the near future. We need your help folks. When I post it please let me know any date you would be willing to help!

We had an awesome time at enrollment the past couple of days. It was great to see our returning students along with several new faces. The teachers are excited for the upcoming school year and can’t wait to see everyone on the 1st day of school, August 12th. August 11th is a busy day! Booster Club meeting and Board Meeting. Booster Club meeting is at 6:00 pm, prior to the Board Meeting in the Sharon cafeteria. The Booster Club will be organizing new year events and other items. We are calling on any and all new members. We would really like to see our younger elementary parents involved in our Booster Club! You parents are the future of our school system. We are looking to finalize a concession stand workforce for the upcoming school year. (All Booster Club and concession money goes directly back to ALL SM students.) If you can attend, please be there. 6:00 pm August 11, Sharon cafeteria.
