Cimarron Link is donating a scholarship to graduating seniors at selected schools near the project area here in Oklahoma. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and is available for graduating students at Sharon-Mutual High School planning to attend a two or four-year college. Applicants must be a graduating senior who is pursuing an agriculture or STEM-related career. Up to one student in each school district will be chosen as a scholarship recipient. The scholarship may be used for the student’s educational expenses when attending any college, vocational, or technical school of the student’s choice. ELIGIBILITY To be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, students must meet the following criteria: Plan to attend a two-year or four-year college to pursue an education in agriculture or a STEM-related field. Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. Have a minimum ACT composite score of 20. Be a high school senior at an eligible school district. Have a letter of reference from a high school teacher or administrator. SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT Recipients will receive $1,000, distributed after submittal of the college enrollment form. TIMELINE The scholarship application is now available at CimarronLink.com and will close on at 5 p.m. CST on March 31, 2024. Form and letter of reference must be received by that date.
