S-M students do not attend TAP or career tech Tuesday thru Thursday this week unless you provide your own transportation. If you are semester testing, you are responsible for knowing the testing schedule and being present at Mutual in grades 7-12.

Students who are exempt from semester test complete their semester today. Students who are required to test, should be at school tomorrow for the review and on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Horatio Alger Association will be awarding National Scholarships of $25,000 in addition to State Scholarships as well as other specifically targeted scholarships. We want to provide scholarships to students who, given the chance financially, could succeed in college.

ā Be enrolled full time as a high school junior in the United States
ā Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelorās degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
ā Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
ā Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
ā Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
