Juniors opportunity!!! Youth Leadership Oklahoma (YLOK) is currently accepting applications for Class 26. YLOK is seeking applicants who are current high school juniors and passionate about advocating for their community and state. During the program, 52 selected students from across the state will travel throughout Oklahoma from
May 31-June 5, 2026 and learn about critical issues that impact Oklahoman's (ethics, entrepreneurship, health care, economics, philanthropy, tribal, government, etc). Participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers and develop their leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. This program is provided at no cost to the participants.

Mrs. Green's Geometry class will be working on barn quilt squares after fall break. They took a trip to tour the barn quilt squares displayed in and around Vici. They counted over 60 "quilts," and got a lot of ideas.

Tomorrow's Bracket for S-M Volleyball Tournament. First match will be at 10:00 am with S-M JV Vs Erick

Scholarships are available at: occf.org, Tulsacf.org, Lowe's, Pizza Hut, and Braums. You can search areas such as scholarships for students with disabilities, left-handed flute player, and class clown or an area or talent or characteristic which you as a student have. You may have to do some digging!
Seniors can apply for Oklahoma's Promise up to 12-31-2025 this year! Apply at okpromise.org. Teachers' kids have new income maximums that will possibly qualify them for Oklahoma's Promise. 8th graders through seniors should apply. All Oklahoma's Promise students will be required to file FAFSA for the year entering higher ed and each year through higher ed to keep Oklahoma's Promise.

Three Sharon-Mutual Students participated in the Crystal Beach Fall 10U softball season.
Bexlee Thompson and Stevie Wilson were on the championship team and received a trophy.
Lakyn Marlatt participated as well.

Attention seniors, parents of higher education students, & Oklahoma's Promise students!!! The FAFSA is scheduled to open on October 1. Sharon-Mutual will be hosting a FAFSA night on November 5, at 5:30 p.m. in Mrs. Hopper's room at Mutual. Make plans to be there if you would like help from Audrea Halderman with HPTC with completing the FAFSA. You will need your 2024 income tax information. The FAFSA should be completed for the 2026-2027 school year and is a graduation requirement for every student graduating in Oklahoma and those receiving Oklahoma's Promise annually. Make plans to be there!
