Mrs. Green visited the 3rd and 4th grade classes to work on STEM activities through literature. The 4th grade class listened to "The Invisible Scribble" while they worked on their sound waves artwork. They were recorded saying their names and given a printout of what it looked like as a sound wave. They made a design based on their unique voices and talked about why everyone's was different. The 3rd grade heard about "The Great Eggscape." They designed protection for eggs with different landing pads. They dropped their eggs from various heights and logged the drop time. Three of the four eggs survived. Then, they talked about how animals can survive in different environments.

Military recruiters will be on campus at various times throughout the year visiting with juniors and seniors. In addition, seniors will attend the college/career fair at High Plains Technology Center where military recruiters visit with juniors and seniors present there. If you do not wish for your student to visit with a military recruiter, please direct your student not to visit with them and notify the high school office. Students will be allowed to remain in class. It will be the student’s responsibility to not attend the recruiting meeting. This notice is in accordance with a law to disclose the possibility of recruiters visiting with students at our school implemented in 2022.
