Military recruiters will be on campus at various times throughout the year visiting with juniors and seniors. In addition, seniors will attend the college/career fair at High Plains Technology Center where military recruiters visit with juniors and seniors present there. If you do not wish for your student to visit with a military recruiter, please direct your student not to visit with them and notify the high school office. Students will be allowed to remain in class. It will be the studentās responsibility to not attend the recruiting meeting. This notice is in accordance with a law to disclose the possibility of recruiters visiting with students at our school implemented in 2022.

Senior parents whose senior is planning to go to college or technical school should go to fafsa.gov and create a parent ID and have your senior create a parent ID. It is a graduation requirement to complete the FAFSA in Oklahoma now. The ID takes a few days to create and be available so it needs to be done now so you are ready when the time comes. The FAFSA is expected to open in December.
