We are fortunate enough to this year to host a football game round one this coming Friday. I am requesting a couple of sets of parents to work concession if possible. Game is at 7:00, concession opens at 6:00. Please get ahold of me if you are willing to help. Thanks in advance.

Elementary and JH basketball tomorrow at Arnett. Brink dark colored jerseys. Mr. Thompson will leave Mutual at 3:15 and Sharon at 3:30 with the bus. Freshman basketball players will ride to Arnett with Coach Gilchrist and Coach Marlatt after high school practices.

VETERANS DAY PROGRAM
Sharon-Mutual Public Schools will be performing their annual Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, November 11th at 11:00 AM in the Sharon Gym.
We will not be allowing any guests at the event. The program will be broadcast on classiccom.tv.

For SNAP recipients who lost food during the power outage, they can get it replaced. Must have a request submitted within 10 days of outage or no later than 11/9/2020.
Those currently on SNAP who have been without power for more than 12 hours due to the recent ice storm may qualify to get some SNAP benefits replaced.

Wichita State has received a generous donation from Gene and Yolanda Camarena to offer 20 renewable scholarship to students who are of Black and/or Hispanic/Latino heritage!
Scholarship Breakdown:
$8,000-$20,000 for new freshman
$4,000-$10,000 for new transfer students
*Scholarships are stackable for students who receive a Freshman/Transfer Merit Scholarship
To be eligible to compete, students must:
Be a 2021 high school graduate or new incoming transfer student with at least 12 transfer credit hours
Submit Wichita State application for admission and scholarship materials by December 1
Meet the following criteria:
Have a minimum unweighted 3.00 GPA
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by December 1
For students ineligible to complete a FAFSA, please submit a need statement that speaks to the financial need for scholarship assistance
This means yes, undocumented students can apply for the Adelante scholarship
Have a resume built and ready to upload at the application site

If you are a veteran, either active duty, retired, reserve or national guard, The OSSAA would like to invite you to attend the first round of the football playoffs for free next weekend! Thatās right, all veterans and one guest will be admitted free of charge on Friday November 13th to all OSSAA first round football games. The OSSAA appreciates the sacrifices of all veterans, and hopes you will take advantage of this opportunity. Simply show your Military ID card, or driverās license that shows your military status at the gate next Friday, and you and a guest will be omitted free of charge. Covid-19 Update:
Sharon-Mutual Public Schools has had a staff member test positive for Covid-19. Parents of the students who have been in direct contact with the staff member have been notified. Sharon-Mutual Public Schools and the Woodward County Health Department are working on the best course of action for the Sharon-Mutual School District.
It has been determined that we do not need to close the school facilities at this time.
We appreciate the efforts everyone has used to help us provide the safest possible environment for our students.
Please monitor the health of you and your family. If your child is sick or showing symptoms please do not send them to school.

Redlands is currently offering high school juniors and seniors who are concurrently enrolled with Redlands Community College a scholarship that will help them pay their fees! Our Foundation provides this scholarship and it will help students tremendously, especially during these uncertain times with COVID-19.
For the 2020-2021 Academic Year, see the tuition waivers for juniors and seniors below:
Juniors will receive a full tuition waiver for up to 9 credit hours. Juniors are only covered for 9 credit hours meaning they are able to take up to 9 hours for the year (summer, fall, spring). This does not mean that they can take 9 hours per semester, unless they choose to take all tuition-waived 9 hours in a semester.
Seniors will receive a full tuition waiver for up to 18 credit hours. Seniors are only covered for 18 credit hours meaning they are able to take up to 18 hours for the year (summer, fall, spring). This does not mean that they can take 18 hours per semester, unless they choose to take all 18 hours in a semester.

This is a $100 scholarship for fees only. Students will still be responsible for their books and any additional fees if they choose to take more than one 3 credit-hour course during a semester.
