We would also like to say THANK YOU to the anonymous person who cleaned up this area in front of the elementary. It looks very good and we appreciate your help very much.

Reminder: all student athletes need a physical on file to participate in sports.

Sharon-Mutual students who score at least a 19 in reading are eligible to take concurrent enrollment classes (college classes taken during high school) each year. If you are interested in taking concurrent classes, please contact Mrs. Hopper at 580-989-3231 or thopper@smps.k12.ok.us.

Sharon-Mutual is required to choose between ACT and SAT as the state-mandated test for juniors each year. If you have input on your preference and valid reasons for that choice, please email them to Mrs. Hopper at thopper@smps.k12.ok.us. Historically, Sharon-Mutual has utilized the ACT.

Grades 7-12 enrollment will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on August 10th at the newest high school building in Mutual. If you pre-enrolled with Mrs. Hopper in the spring and completed and returned your enrollment packets to Cindy, you do not need to come to enrollment, but we encourage you to come meet your teachers. Students will need mechanical pencils and a couple of notebooks to begin the school year. A chrome book and charger will be provided to each student. Make sure you get your athletics physicals and complete the necessary forms. Forms are available at the high school office. Each student will be assigned a locker. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Oklahoma's Promise, a tuition payment for higher education, is now open to students in grades 8 through 11 at www.okpromise.org. The family federal adjusted gross income limit has been raised to $60,000 based on the 2020 tax return. Special income provisions may apply to children adopted from certain court-ordered custody and children in the custody of court-appointed legal guardians and families receiving Social Security benefits based on the disability or death of a student's parents. Apply online or request a form from Mrs. Hopper at the high school.

Enrollment for students in grades 7-12 will be August 10th from 4 pm to 7 pm at the high school office in Mutual.

Preliminary state test results now available
to students, families
OKLAHOMA CITY (July 9, 2021) ā The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) has released preliminary state test results through a secure online portal. The Parent/Student Portal gives access to individual scores for the Oklahoma School Testing Program (OSTP).
Students across the state took part in the OSTP this past spring. Results for students in Grades 3-8 will be available on the portal. However, if students took the assessment on paper or outside the early testing window, their scores are not available yet.
To log in to the Parent/Student Portal, families must have their studentās unique 10-digit State Testing Number, or STN, which is available through their school or on previous OSTP paper parent reports. All portal accounts have been reset for spring 2021, which means families will need to register even if theyāve logged on before. The portal is accessible in English or Spanish.
If you need your studentās STN or have other questions about the Parent/Student Portal, contact your studentās school. The following resources are available:
Parent/Student Portal: https://okparentportal.emetric.net
Parent/Student Portal User Guide
Parent/Student Portal Resource Guide
Accessing Spanish Reports from the Parent Portal
Oklahomaās state assessments include only federally required tests plus U.S. history for high school juniors. The state administers math and English language arts (ELA) tests for Grades 3-8 and science for Grades 5 and 8. As juniors, students also take the SAT or ACT through their local school.

Back to school information! We canāt wait to see all our students! ā¤ļøš¤š
