The OROS Scholarship applications for seniors of member schools are now available online at orosok.org. Applications must be postmarked by March 1 and be typewritten or application will not be considered. To make the application process easier, we have added the option of downloading a form, filling it out on your computer, typing the essay on your computer, printing all of it, and then mailing it to the OROS office. After printing it, the student needs to sign, have the principal sign and attach a copy of the transcript before mailing it. The form may be accessed on the OROS webpage at orosok.org. Click on the scholarship link on the left side of the home page and that will take you to the form options. Follow the instructions under each option. We are now making this option available to make it more convenient to process the application since the board of directors have implemented the new rule that all applications must be typewritten. For more information about the scholarship or the application itself, contact Don Ford at (918)694-1572 or donbford@gmail.com

For now, weather permitting… SM will play their 270 conference tournament games on Saturday at 10:00/11:15 at Mutual. We could certainly use help in the concession from any adults available. I’d doubt we can get any students there on a Saturday. If u can help please let me know be there by 9:30.

We experienced a Power back up issue on our server this morning. For those of you doing virtual through Google meet, the teacher should be able to reconnect for now. We know that with the weather conditions, there may be interruptions so if you are unable to connect through Google classroom, email or text your teacher as a check in.

Due to weather concerns tomorrow and respectively considering our opponents need for safe travel home, we will be moving tomorrow’s game against Buffalo to a 4:30 start time. Homecoming events will take place between the boys and girls games.

High Plains Technology Center is offering an ACT Prep class starting on February 2nd – it will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will last until March 10th. We are doing this for LPN applicants – but certainly it’s open to any high school students who might be interested. Because it’s a night class, we do have to charge tuition – the cost is $100.00. Abbie Wasson will be teaching the class. To enroll, students need to call Tammy Kelln at 580-571-6159.
