S-M students in grades 9-12 will have the opportunity to attend an ACT test prep with Shelly Harris at Canton Public Schools on Friday, March 3rd from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Shelly dynamically focuses on test taking techniques to improve student performance on the ACT. There is no charge to students for the workshop and transportation will be provided. We will ask for a headcount the week before. Put it on your calendars if you are interested.

Kallie Harris, Kaden Spray, Blayze Clem and Sammi Green were named 270 Conference Academic All-Stars for 2022-2023. Kallie also received a 270 Conference $200 scholarship. Great representation by S-M students!

Laverne will be hosting a Chad Cargill ACT workshop in Laverne on Monday, Feb 27 from 9-12:00, & it is $30 per student. We would love for you & your students to join us. If you've never been to a Chad Cargill workshop, he does a really great job of informing & entertaining the kids. He provides very useful & helpful tips, tricks, & advice for preparing for & taking the ACT; he has good energy & is able to keep them engaged in what he is talking about. You can bring students even if they don't "sign up" early but if you could, please let me know if you will be attending just so they have an idea of how many to prepare for. The girls’ district basketball game for Thursday has been moved to a start time of 7:00 rather than 7:30. The boys will play Friday at 7:30. Both games will be at Leedey.
