Concurrent enrollment college classes are available to students who have taken the ACT and scored at least a 19 in reading with at least a 19 in the subject area they wish to take classes in. These are college classes for juniors or seniors where tuition is waived on a limited basis with fees and books to be paid by the students. If you are interested in taking concurrent classes, email Mrs. Hopper at thopper@smps.k12.ok.us to see if you qualify.
Military recruiters will be on campus at various times throughout the year visiting with juniors and seniors. In addition, seniors will attend the college/career fair at High Plains Technology Center where military recruiters visit with juniors and seniors present there. If you do not wish for your student to visit with a military recruiter, lease direct your student not to visit with them. Students will be allowed to remain in class if they have been told by you not to visit with a recruiter. It will be the student's responsibility to not attend the recruiting meeting. This notice is in accordance with a law to disclose the possibility of recruiters visiting with students at our school implemented in 2022.
Sharon-Mutual Public Schools has historically used the ACT as its choice for the Oklahoma state test. The alternative is the SAT. SMPS will be making that choice designation in the near future. The SAT is available to students as is the ACT at testing locations around the state if they choose to take it. If you wish to contribute comments to the decision process, email Mrs. Hopper at thopper@smps.k12.ok.us by July 15, 2023.

Volleyball camp is in full swing!
Cumulative folders for seniors graduating in 2016 will be purged and destroyed after June 1 with only transcripts being retained by the school as required by law. If you would like to pick up your folder, please email thopper@smps.k12.ok.us to make arrangements for the pickup.

Congratulations to all of the Miss Sharon-Mutual and Mr. Irresistible contestants this evening. A fine performance was given by all! Heidi Keene was crowned Miss Sharon-Mutual by the outgoing Miss Sharon-Mutual Lexi Robinson. Kaden Spray was named Mr. Irresistible, Hutch Baggett, Mr. Nearly Irresistible, Patrick Wheeler was the winner of the talent competition, Hunter, Dennis won the beachwear competition and Jace Brechlin was Mr. Likable. We appreciate all those who came out in support!
