State track day 1 results: 4x100 missed the finals by one spot, 4x200 ran another record breaking time of 1.35.10 moving up from 14th to 10th place today. Tomorrow Hutch Baggett will be in the finals of the 100 and 200 meters. Dakota Walker is in the finals of the 300 hurdles with the fastest qualifying time from today. Nice job Trojans! Tiny Miss Sharon-Mutual Information
What & Who: Opportunity to include Sharon-Mutual girls in Pre-K through 3rd grade in the Miss Sharon-Mutual pageant.
When: Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Sharon-Mutual High School Gym, Mutual, OK
Why: To encourage and promote participation of Sharon-Mutual youth in future Miss Sharon Mutual pageants, and to involve community members and family in the lives, pursuits of Sharon-Mutual youth while raising money for scholarships.
All girls in Sharon-Mutual Pre-K through 3rd grade are invited to join us on Tuesday, May 14th for the 2024 Miss Sharon-Mutual pageant as Tiny Miss Sharon-Mutual representatives, and potential future Miss Sharon-Mutual contestants. Tiny Miss Sharon-Mutual participants may dress in their Sunday best, their favorite princess costume, or in formal dresses. This is intended to be a fun event for young girls, and an opportunity for them to meet and observe this yearās Miss Sharon-Mutual and Mr. Irresistible contestants compete for both title and scholarship money. Admission for the evening is $5.00 per person, and does assist in sustaining and growing the scholarship fund.
Students wishing to participate should plan to be at the Sharon-Mutual High School gym no later than 5:30 p.m., in their chosen dress/costume, so parents and students may be given instructions as to how the eveningās events will go.
Those wishing to participate are asked to answer a few questions about themselves (with the help of parents/family/guardians), and bring the form to the pageant or complete a digital form before the pageant (both forms linked below). The answers will be used to create a brief introduction of each young lady as they walk onto the stage, and are presented to the audience. There will be no contest, no winner(s) chosen or announced. There is no entry fee required.

Congratulations to our students at High Plains Technology on their awards! Great job!!





Mrs. Green took a few students on a STEM field trip to Weatherford. They met with the Computer Science Department at SWOSU to learn about their degree programs and toured the Esports arena. They wrapped up the trip with a visit to the Stafford Air and Space Museum.








GT students and seniors toured Fort Reno and the Oklahoma Museum of natural history today. A great day for learning!

Congratulations to Brandi Green, math teacher at Sharon-Mutual High School, on being Vype's Northwest Area Teacher of the Month! Brandi firmly believes in hands-on projects for student learning and tailoring her lessons to fit student needs. She works to help students overcome hatred of math, anxiety and being intimidated by math when they get to her classroom. Great job Brandi!
