Mrs. Syms 2nd grade class participates in the Thunder Reading Challenge. Students track their minutes read throughout the school year. The OKC Thunder honors the top reader every month.
Hunter Bosscawen was the top reader for November and December. Hunter read 1,120 minutes in November and 1,505 minutes in December. He received a t-shirt and stocking hat along with a certificate from the OKC Thunder. Congratulations Hunter on your hard work!

The Mooreland HS game has been rescheduled for Feb. 3, 6:30 at Mutual. There will be no 3/4 grade games made up.

Received this message today from one of our Trojan parents: I text coach Marlatt last night, but thought I would let you know that I worked concessions with the boys basketball last night, and let me tell you that was the most respectful group of kids I have even seen! It was yes maāam, no maāam, thank you! They never even hesitated when I would ask for help! They jumped right in when it was time to clean! I was beyond impressed with that group of kids!
So proud of our kids!!

Way to go FFA members! Today we had 6 students compete in Career Development Events contest at Woodward today. Sammi, Sharley, Cade and Lexie placed 3rd team overall in the Food Science division. Nathaniel and Blayze competed in the Milk Quality and Products contest. Great way to start off the semester!

Davidson Institute Fellows Scholarship
The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box.
